SEAT has unveiled the full pricing and specifications details of the new Ibiza ST ahead of its UK debut this month.
The exciting new SEAT Ibiza ST boasts a sleek new design, impressive amount of space and a generous standard equipment list. The new model is the third Ibiza model to join the line-up following the original Ibiza 5-door and sporty Ibiza SC.
Sporty Style:
The eye catching SEAT Ibiza ST boasts a sleek style typical of SEAT’s chief designer Luc Donckerwolke. SEAT claim the new Ibiza ST offers customers a ‘chic’ sporty style without compromising on sensible features such as 60/40 spilt folding rear seats, roof rails and a flat boot floor.
Inside, the new SEAT Ibiza ST offers up to 430 litres of boot space, 138 litres more than the Ibiza 5-door model. It also has a range of innovative storage options and a wide rear hatch for easy loading and access.
Power & Performance:
From launch, the SEAT Ibiza ST has a choice of petrol and turbodiesels engines. Petrol engines include the newly EUV-compliant 1.4 engine and 1.2-litre TSI, whilst diesel options include the refined 75 PS 1.2-litre TDI CR or the potent 1.6-litre TDI CR. All engines are available with five-speed manual or seven-speed DSG transmission.
If you’re looking for power, the dynamic 1.2 TSI with DSG-auto accelerates from 0-62 mph in just 10.1 seconds and boasts a top speed of 118 mph. For the eco-conscious customer, the Ibiza ST Ecomotive boasts a combined fuel economy of 80.7 mpg and a road tax-busting CO2 figure of 92 g/km.
Generous Equipment List:
All Ibiza ST models come with an impressive equipment list as standard including air con, four speaker stereo radio with MP3 compatibility, CD player and Aux-in socket, steering wheel controls, electric front windows, roof rails, speed sensitive electro-hydraulic power steering and central locking.
A number of optional extras are also available including climate control, bi-xenon headlights, headlight washers and daytime running lights, panoramic glass sunroof and a variety of alloy wheels.
The new SEAT Ibiza ST is available in three trims levels including the S A/C, SE and Sport. On the road prices start from £12,070 for the entry-level model rising to £14,910 for the top-of-the-range 1.2 TDI CR Ecomotive SE.
