The new RS standard bearer wows crowds at the 79th International Geneva Motor Show.
FOLLOWING from the ground breaking Quattro of the 1980’s the TT RS continues in the same vein with its high-tech five-cylinder power.
The Audi TT RS Coupe and Roadster both made their debut at the 2009 International Geneva Motor Show, which will be priced at £42,980 and £44,880 respectively.
This is the first modern day Audi to use the traditional five-cylinder engine that was so successful in the 1980’s. This revitalised powertrain generates 340PS from 5,400rpm to 6,700rpm and 450Nm from 1,600rpm to 5,300rpm.
The TT RS will do 0 - 62mph in 4.6 seconds (Roadster 4.7 seconds) and is electronically limited to 155mph but can be increased at extra cost to 174mph.
The RS 4-style Sport button will boost the throttle response and give and extra more audible boost to the engine.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
