Peugeot Reveal 508 RXH Hybrid

Peugeot Reveal 508 RXH Hybrid

Following in the trackmarks of the 508 Saloon and SW, Peugeot has finally revealed their latest model to join the 508 line-up – the Peugeot 508 RXH diesel-electric hybrid.

Marketed as a luxury all-road vehicle, the new Peugeot 508 RXH is one of the first hybrid vehicles to feature a highly-capable four-wheel drive along with a ZEV 100% electric mode, designed to adapt to all types of driving. Peugeot hope the new top-of-the-range model will take the high-end car market by storm when it hits UK showrooms early next year, setting a new standard for luxury hybrid vehicles.

Taking styling tips from the highly acclaimed 508 Saloon and SW, the new Peugeot 508 RXH features a striking new style with distinctive LED lights and a ‘floating’ grille, giving the impression of three vertical ‘lion’ claws on each side of the vehicle.

Inside, the Peugeot 508 RXH is kitted out in distinctive colours and luxurious materials, including new high quality interior upholstery. As with all top-of-the-range models, the new 508 RXH is also generously equipped with electric front windows, head up display, panoramic glass roof, dark-tinted acoustic side windows, 18’’ wheels and the latest generation audio and satellite navigation unit all offered as standard.

Under the bonnet, the 508 RXH features a 2.0L HDi FAP Hybrid4 engine, producing an impressive 200 bhp and maximum torque of 450Nm. Designed to adapt to all driving conditions, the new four-wheel drive system complements the ZEV 100% electric mode, making the new model ideal for all types of on and off road conditions. Fuel consumption is at a healthy 70.6mpg on a combined cycle and CO2 emissions at 109 g/km.

The new Peugeot 508 RXH is on UK sale from spring 2012. It makes its world premiere at the Frankfurt International Motor Show later this year.

Car Leasing vs Buying

Car Leasing Video DemoThere are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.

Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
