Renault Go Green at the NEC

Renault exhibit at Gardeners’ World Live event in the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham.

Gardeners’ World for those of you who don’t stay in on a Friday night to watch it, is a long running TV program featuring tips and features for our nation gardeners.

The show has been running for many years but has recently had a changing of the guard. In a slight image change it has become more accessible to amateurs and are currently touring the streets of Britain giving out seeds.

For many years the show has been running an event at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham. Renault have been a part of that for the last seven years putting on fine display for green fingered motorists. This year Renault is making more of an effort to highlight its green credentials. As well as displaying its range of ‘eco2’ cars, the French manufacturer is also showcasing a unique approach to eco-friendly stand design, perfectly in tune with its surroundings.

BBC Gardeners’ World Live is a popular event as some of the other major shows are often based down south. The proximity of this event attracts many northern and midland gardeners.

As principle sponsor Renault have picked a perfect spot to displaying its blossoming range of six new models. Four of them represent recent additions to the range, in the form of New Clio Sport Tourer, New Scénic, New Grand Scénic and New Kangoo, while all six form part of Renault ‘eco2’, the marque’s environmental range.

The cars allow the user to minimise their carbon footprint whilst maintain style, functionality and performance. As with many of these customers, performance comes second to what plants and tools they can fit in the back.

Under the eco2 banner, every eligible Renault model has to meet three strict criteria. Namely, emit 140 grams or less of carbon dioxide per kilometre, be manufactured in an ISO-14001-certified plant and contain more than 5% recycled plastic. The show is on all this week so get there fast to not miss out.

Car Leasing vs Buying

Car Leasing Video DemoThere are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.

Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
