Honda is set to launch the world’s first supermini hybrid at Paris Motor Show.
The new Hybrid Honda Jazz, which is due to go on sale in early 2011, is fitted with some petrol-electric system that powers the Honda Insight.
The Hybrid Jazz has a 1.3 litre i-VTEC engine combined with an electric motor, putting drive to the front wheels via a CVT gearbox. It will be capable of running on the electric motor alone during medium and low speeds. And motor tax exemption will be guaranteed by a sub-100g/km rating.
A bespoke lime green metallic paint finish will distinguish this car from the other Jazz versions, along with revised headlights with blue surround, clear rear lights, a new front grille and restyled bumpers. The interior will feature a revised dashboard with blue illuminated dials and dashboard instruments.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
