In 2006 Japanese car manufacturer Nissan introduced the Nissan Note – it’s first mini multi purpose vehicle or mini mpv for short. Consumers have demonstrated an appetite for small proportioned vehicles that maximise interior space and offer versatility and practicality for everyday driving. Agile handling, excellent interior comfort and useful technology make the Nissan Note a favourite choice in this sector. Similar mini mpv vehicles produced by other manufacturers include the Vauxhall Meriva, Fiat Idea, Peugeot 1007 and sister company Renault with its Modus car.

The new Nissan Note comes in five different grades, three different engines, manual or automatic transmission and ten body colours. The Nissan Note engine choice is from a 1.4 litre 16v 88 ps engine, a 1.6 litre 16v 110 ps engine or the diesel 1.5 dCi 86 ps. The equipment levels in ascending order are Visia and Visia+, Acenta and  Accenta S and lastly the Tekna.
