Peugeot is a French car manufacture and it was founded in 1882 when they started making bicycles. They made their first road vehicle – a steam powered three-wheeled vehicle in 1889. Over the years Peugeot have grown into one of Europe's largest car manufacturers. In 1975 Peugeot took over troubled French car manufacturer Citroen. As the combined PSA company, Peugeot and Citroen share technology and engineering solutions which has helped them to reduce their cost and increase the competitiveness of their cars. Peugeot have been heavily involved in motorsport from the very beginning, entering their first event in 1894. Over the years Peugeot has fielded entries for most type of motorsport, from rallying, to Formula 1 to Sports cars.
