The 207 SW is a 5-door compact estate that adds a practical load area with fold-flat seats to the 207 hatchback spec. Agile, comfortable and practical; the 207 SW is an ideal family car and features plenty of standard equipment. 428 litres of space is available with the rear seats folded. All models feature an attractive panoramic 'Cielo' glass roof with electric sunblind. The HDi 90 diesel model forms part of Peugeot’s ‘Blue Lion’ range, meaning the car is environmentally friendly, with CO2 emissions below 125g/km, and is made with parts that are 95% recyclable.
The engine range features four choices. Petrol options are the 1.4-litre 95bhp VTi and 1.6-litre 120bhp VTi engines, both with 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.6-litre edition is also available with 4-speed automatic transmission on selected trim levels. The two diesel engines, 1.6-litre HDi 90 and the turbocharged 1.6-litre HDi 110, are both economic with low CO2 emissions.
Four trim levels are available, S (with or without air-conditioning), Sport and Outdoor.
Standard features include integrated roof rails, opening rear tailgate window, electric front windows, remote central locking, ABS with EBFD and 6 airbags. The 207 SW scored the top five-star rating in the Euro NCAP crash tests. The Sport trim adds sporty styling, aluminium detailing and alloy wheels. The Outdoor trim has a raised ride height, an engine protection plate, electric rear windows, and washable floor mats for the more adventurous. Plenty of optional extras are available, such as Electronic Stability Program (ESP), cruise control, satellite navigation and Bluetooth™ hands free kit.
