Peugeot is a French car manufacture and it was founded in 1882 when they started making bicycles. They made their first road vehicle – a steam powered three-wheeled vehicle in 1889. Over the years Peugeot have grown into one of Europe's largest car manufacturers. In 1975 Peugeot took over troubled French car manufacturer Citroen. As the combined PSA company, Peugeot and Citroen share technology and engineering solutions which has helped them to reduce their cost and increase the competitiveness of their cars. Peugeot have been heavily involved in motorsport from the very beginning, entering their first event in 1894. Over the years Peugeot has fielded entries for most type of motorsport, from rallying, to Formula 1 to Sports cars. Their most recent entry is the diesel powered 908 which is competing in the Le Mans 24hours race and other endurance events.

Peugeot offers a large range of passenger vehicles for every occasion. Peugeot's extensive range of small cars starts with the diminutive 107, sharing technology with the Toyota Aygo. The 207 range follow on from the successful 206, it is available as a standard 3 or 5 door hatchback or an estate model called the 207SW.
Peugeot released the first convertible with a retractable metal hardtop in 1934. The idea has been revived in recent years and Peugeot now offer two coupe / cabriolet models with fold-away metal hardtops. The 207CC is based on the latest 207 while the larger 307CC can comfortably seat four adults.
The 308 range was launched in 2007, available as a three or five door hatchback as well as the 308SW estate model. The 308SW is notable for its practicality; it is available with up to seven seats and can be fitted with roof bars and opening rear window. The 407 is Peugeot's range of executive cars, they all offer exceptional ride quality and comfort and they can be fitted with the latest hands free mobile phone and satellite navigation technology. They are ideal for the high mileage motorist and are available with a range of efficient diesel engines. Models available are the standard 407 saloon, the sleek 407 Coupe and the 407 SW estate model.
Peugeot have also recently branched out with their first ever 4x4 model – the 4007. It's offroad credentials are helped by using technology shared with the Citroen C8 and Mitsubishi Outlander. Peugeot also offer the 807 people carrier, fitted with up to eight seats and with twin sliding doors it is truly versatile.
