Porsche 911 Cabriolet

The new Porsche 911 Cabriolet shares the iconic design of the Coupe that has been evolved and developed over 40 years to create the most refined 911 ever. The Cabriolet electrically operated hood can be raised or lowered in around 20 seconds and can even be operated whilst moving at speeds up to 30mph. It has a scratch resistant heated glass rear window and is fully insulated and soundproofed, meaning noise levels are almost as low as the Coupe model. There is also a detachable wind deflector fitted which provides practically draught free driving and minimal wind noise. The 911 Cabriolet's closest competition comes in the form of the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class, Bentley Continental GT C and Jaguar XK Convertible.

There are three varieties of engine available on the 911 Cabriolet; the Carrera is fitted with the 3.6 litre flat-six boxer with 345 BHP and the Carrera S has the 3.8 litre boxer with 385 BHP. The Turbo Cabriolet model is fitted with Porsche's 3.6 litre Turbocharged boxer engine and develops 480 HP which makes it as fast as the Coupe model and capable of 193 MPH. There is also a Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S which features a wider rear track and four-wheel drive system which distributes power to ensure maximum grip.
