The Renault Grand Modus is a mini MPV and shares the award winning Clio platform seating up to five. The Grand Modus was first launched in 2008, and has much in common with the Modus but has a longer wheelbase and body. This results in more room in the rear and an increased luggage capacity. The higher headroom results in greatly improved interior space, with more shoulder, head and legroom than the Clio. The versatile interior includes adjustable rear seats that can be moved fully back for increased legroom in the rear, or forward to seat three with added luggage space. The Modus was the first small car to achieve the maximum five-star Euro NCAP rating for passenger safety, in part due to its six air bags, front and rear side impact bars and Isofix child seat fixing points. Its main rivals are the Honda Jazz, Nissan Note and Vauxhall Meriva.
The Grand Modus is fitted with a 1.5 litre dCi common rail turbo diesel engine outputting 106 PS. The efficient engine means that it is capable of an economical 60 MPG. A six-speed manual gear box is fitted as standard. The Dynamique trim level offers many standard features including air conditioning, front fog lamps, 15 inch alloy wheels, leather interior details and more.
