The Renault Megane Coupe is a 2-door car first introduced in 1995. In late 2008, the third generation Megane Coupe was launched to compete against newer rivals such as the Citroen C4 Coupe, Hyundai Coupe and the Volkswagen Scirocco.
The new Renault Megane Coupe is sporty and exclusive with an exciting style. The sports chassis is standard across the Megane Coupe range offering high levels of performance and a wide range of technologically advanced equipment for a comfortable, safe drive. Standard equipment also includes 16" alloy wheels, RDS radio CD, air conditioning, front fog lights and electric front windows.
Engine options include seven petrol engines and five diesel engines. The 1.6 VVT 110 petrol engine produces 110 hp and 151 Nm rpm whilst the 2.0 TCe 180 in the Dynamique TomTom trim boasts 180 hp. All engines come with 6-speed manual transmission and the 2.0 dCi 150 FAP variant comes with 6-speed automatic transmission.
Trim levels include the Expression, i-Music Special Edition, Dynamique TomTom, Privilege TomTom and RenaultSport 250. The Dynamique TomTom trim includes hands free Renault card, Carminat TomTom integrated satellite navigation with joystick, cruise control, extra tinted side and rear windows and RDS radio CD with Bluetooth and MP3 connection. The RenaultSport 250 trim includes 18" alloys, Renaultsport Cup chassis, red painted brake calipers and Renaultsport seats in two tone grey cloth upholstery.
