Renault Wind

The Renault Wind is the latest coupe-convertible from French automaker Renault. Originally unveiled as a concept car at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, the 2 seater Renault Wind went into production in 2010 rivaling similar models such as the Peugeot 207 CC, Nissan Micra CC and Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet.

The chic and stylish Renault Wind combines classic roadster good-looks with Renault’s familiar ‘family face’. Its quick-folding hard-top roof retracts in just 12 seconds and the new compact convertible is also packed with impressive equipment levels and a host of optional features.

Developed in conjunction with the Renaultsport team, the Renault Wind offers a choice of two fiery petrol engines including the 1.2 TCe 100 and the 133hp 16-valve 1.6L as previously seen in the Twingo Renaultsport. 

Three model versions are available including Dynamique, Dynamique S and a limited edition Collection trim. The entry-level Dynamique trim offers an impressive equipment spec including ABS with EBD, front and lateral driver and passenger airbags, brake assist, ESC, immobiliser and electric retracting hard top roof. The top-of-the-range Collection trim includes heated chrome effect door mirrors, leather-faced heated seats, gloss black retractable roof, red and chrome dash inserts, leather sport wheel and subtle ‘Collection’ side and boot badges.

Prices for the new Renault Wind Coupé-Roadster start from £15,500 rising to £18,200 for the special edition ‘Collection’ model.
