The Saab 9-3X Sport Wagon was first introduced in late 2005. Its main rivals include the Skoda Superb Estate, BMW 3 Series Touring and the Mercedes C Class Estate. In 2008, the Saab 9-3X Sport Wagon received a facelift which included a new frontal styling, new door panels, a clamshell hood and frosted rear lamps.
The new Saab 9-3X Sportwagon is packed with the latest innovative Saab technology including Bi-xenon cornering headlights - which turns the headlights when you turn the steering wheel, improving visibility of winding roads, ELSD – which balances torque between the rear wheels and enhances control and XWD – a new cutting-edge all-wheel drive system for better handling and a sportier driving experience.
Engine options include a 1.9 TTiD twin-turbo diesel engine, a 2.0L Turbo XWD 210hp and Saab’s BioPower which runs on bioethanol (E85) producing 25 extra horsepower and reduced CO2 emissions.
Standard features on the new Saab 9-3X Sportwagon include alloy wheels, dark titan fibre décor trim, heated front seats, matt chrome finish roof rails and Saab’s XWD.
