The Ibiza range was first launched by SEAT in 1985, the current model is the fourth generation and was released in 2008. The Ibiza is the first car to be based on the new VW Polo platform, which will be used on the new Audi A1 when it is released. The Ibiza Sport Coupe is a three-door model and differs from the Ibiza five-door by being shorter and lower as well a different rear pillar design to give it's sport coupe look. This stylish new model can be fitted with cruise control, rear parking sensors, rain sensor, tyre pressure monitors, adaptive-front lighting and hill hold control to help you smoothly pull away from tricky hill starts
The Ibiza Sport Coupe has a range of lively engines, starting with the 1.2 12v petrol; other petrol engines are the 1.4 16v and 1.6 litres 16v with 105 PS. There is also a turbo diesel engine option, the 1.9 litre TDI with 105 PS.
Trim levels have been overhauled for the new Ibiza range and now start with the S level, then there is the mid-range SE and the top level Sport with sports seats, and MP3 compatible CD player.
