Skoda is based in the Czech Republic. They were formed in the 1890's and like many other car manufacturers today, started with making bicycles and later motorcycles. Their first motor car was made in 1905. At the fall of communism in Czechoslovakia in 1990, Skoda was privatised and bought by the Volkswagen Group. Since then Skoda have regained the name they once had as makers of high quality, great value cars. Skoda has a good reputation and has been rated in the top 5 for customer satisfaction for the last 12 years in the comprehensive JD Power consumer survey.
Skoda's current line-up consist of six models, all jointly developed with Volkswagen. Their latest offering is the newly relaunched Superb, a large family car and also the most luxurious in the Skoda range. It is based on the VW Passat and features a unique boot, the Twin-Door which can be opened like a hatchback or like a regular saloon boot.
Skoda's smallest car, the Fabia was refreshed in 2007, it is a small five-door hatchback, but also available in estate form. The Octavia model is larger than the Fabia, it is also available in hatchback and estate form, and is noted for its generous interior space and better reliability then the VW Golf upon which the Octavia is based.
New for 2006 was the Skoda Roomster, it is classed as a leisure activity vehicle and it features a large practical interior with fully adjustable rear seating.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
