First launched in 2009, the Skoda Superb Estate is a ‘combi’ five-door estate version of the highly successful, flagship Skoda Superb. Its main rivals include the BMW 3 Series Touring, Saab 9-3 Sport Wagon and Mercedes C Class Estate.
The new Skoda Superb Estate offers the same style and comfort of the flagship Skoda Superb but with the added practicality of a larger cabin and cargo carrying capacity. Subtle touches such as the directional air vents, defused interior lighting and the largest leg room in its class, all help make the Superb Estate a comfort and smoother drive. The new model is also packed with the latest technology such as Park Assist sensors, AFS adaptive front light system, climatic air conditioning and 4 spoke multi-function steering wheel with radio.
There are five powerful and economic engines to choose from including the 1.4 TSI, 1.8 TSI, 1.9 TDI, 2.0 TDI and the 3.6 V6 units. The 2.0 TDI diesel engine produces 140bhp and 320 Nm of torque whilst the powerful 3.6L V6 petrol engine boasts 260bhp and a max speed of 153 mph.
Trim levels include the S, SE and Elegance. The S trim includes climatronic air conditioning, radio / CD and MP3, 16’’ alloy wheels and ESP. The SE trim includes acoustic rear parking sensors, cruise control, dual-zone air conditioning, 17’’ alloy wheels and alcantara upholstery. The top-of-the-range Elegance trim includes colour touchscreen satellite navigation, bi-xenon headlights, full leather upholstery and 18’’ alloy wheels.
