The Toyota Urban Cruiser is a new mini MPV introduced by Toyota in 2009. It slots into the Toyota lineup below the Toyota RAV4 and was designed to compete against similar small SUVs like the Nissan Qashqai and Kia Soul, while also attracting customers from mainstream family hatchbacks.

Inside, the Toyota Urban Cruiser offers style and function, with small details like the leather steering wheel and gearshift connecting you directly to the driving experience. Fingertip controls for the CD stereo and Bluetooth system are easy to use in all driving conditions and the optional 6.5 touch screen sat nav system boasts city lane guidance and traffic jam avoidance functions.
Under the bonnet, the Urban Cruiser is available with two highly economical but powerful engines. Take your pick from the 1.33 Dual VVT-i petrol which delivers a combined fuel consumption of 51.4 mpg or the 1.4 D-4D diesel which at 130g/km and 57.6 mpg makes the Urban Cruiser the lowest-CO2 all-wheel-drive-passenger car in the world.
Variants include the 2WD or AWD. The 2WD includes climate control air conditioning, 16" high gloss alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, Bluetooth connectivity and front fog lamps. The AWD includes smart entry & smart start, roof spoiler, optional Intelligent All Wheel Drive (diesel only) and ECO shift indicator to assist economical driving.
