The new VW Fox is currently Volkswagen's smallest car and cheapest car. It was first released in 2005 to replace the outgoing Lupo. It is a small city-car and competes with vehicles such as the Ford Ka, Vauxhall Agila, Toyota Aygo, Citroen C1 and Peugeot 107. The Fox achieved a 4-Star Euro NCAP safety rating and comes fitted with ISOFIX child seat fittings.
The Fox has the choice of two engines, the 1.2 and the 1.4, both engines are petrol and achieve good MPG with low emissions. Two trim levels are offered, standard and Urban. Prices for the base level Fox start at around £6000.
