The new Volvo XC70 was originally called the V70 XC and is based on the V70 estate car. The vehicles main difference is the SUV like styling, higher ride height and an automatic four-wheel drive system that normally only powers the front wheels but can send drive to the rear wheels if conditions become tricky. The current model was launched with the new V70 in 2007. Extra features over the V70 include Hill Descent control and Volvo's 4C active suspension technology and optional speed dependant steering.
The XC70 vehicle is currently fitted with the D5 five-cylinder turbo diesel engine, developing 400 Nm torque from just 2000RPM. It is available with a six-speed manual gearbox or six-speed Geartronic automatic transmission.
Standard Trim levels are the SE and SE Lux.

There are many practical reasons to leasing a car rather than buying one. Car leasing offers lower monthly payments, lower initial deposit, road tax and breakdown recovery. You also have the opportunity to drive a new car every two or three years and all vehicles include the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Our leasing deals are powered by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
